At Complete Pool, we follow a detailed and thorough process for Acid and Deep Cleaning to ensure your pool is looking its best and functioning properly.

Pool Draining (If Necessary)

For a more thorough cleaning, we may begin by draining the pool, especially if there’s a significant buildup of minerals or algae that requires close attention to the pool’s surface. This step ensures we can work directly on the pool’s tiles, walls, and floor.

Surface Scrubbing and Stain Removal

Once the pool is drained, our team will scrub all surfaces of the pool, focusing on the areas that have the heaviest buildup of scale, mineral deposits, and stains. This includes:

• Tile and grout cleaning: We scrub the tiles around the waterline to remove stains caused by oils, lotions, and minerals.

• Wall and floor scrubbing: We remove any scale, dirt, and algae buildup that has settled along the pool walls and floors.

• Acid washing: For stubborn stains and mineral deposits that won’t come off with regular scrubbing, we carefully apply a diluted acid solution to the pool surface. This solution helps break down tough deposits, lifting stains and restoring your pool’s clean look.

Filter Cleaning and Inspection

A clogged or dirty filter can reduce the effectiveness of your pool’s filtration system and impact water quality. During our Acid and Deep Cleaning service, we will:

• Clean the pool’s filter: We clean and inspect the pool filter to ensure that it’s free from debris and buildup, allowing it to function at its highest capacity.

• Replace or maintain any worn parts: If necessary, we’ll replace any filter components that are damaged or showing signs of wear.

Acid Treatment for Pool Surfaces

We use a specialized acid treatment to remove:

• Calcium buildup: Over time, calcium deposits can form on the pool surface, especially around the waterline. These mineral deposits can cause the pool to appear cloudy or discolored.

• Rust or iron stains: Acid treatment helps remove rust stains that form on your pool’s surface, restoring its shine.

• Algae and organic stains: Persistent algae growth can stain pool surfaces, but our deep cleaning methods ensure that these stains are effectively removed without damaging the surface.

Pool Refilling and Chemical Balancing

After deep cleaning the pool, we’ll refill it with fresh water. Once the pool is filled, we perform the following:

• Water testing: We test and adjust the pool’s water chemistry to ensure the pH, alkalinity, and chlorine levels are balanced and safe for swimming.

• Add balancing chemicals: We add the necessary chemicals to restore proper water conditions, so your pool is ready to use once the deep cleaning process is complete.

Final Inspection
